Evaluation System

THE GRADING SYSTEM

Abiding by the guidelines of CBSE the school has adopted ‘The Grading System’ in the examination. This system of examining the students gradually leads to a healthy way of competition within oneself. There may be more than one student in a certain range of the percentage and all hold the same rank. As the SESOMU doesn’t differentiate between the students in the same grade, all the A1 achievers are, therefore, declared as toppers and, hence, awarded equally.

THE CONTINUOUS & COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION (CCE)

This system has made the exams much less burdensome for students. It asks the students to be prepared always for different types of evaluation of the lesson which has been taught.

CLASSES IX, X, AND XII PREPARATION

To prepare the students for the board examinations we have devised a unique method to build up a child’s confidence. The method is popularly known as ‘Open Question Examination’. In this examination system, teachers prepare a question bank and distribute it to the students in advance. Teachers then give the solutions to the questions of the question bank and also help them to learn. Afterward, the teachers set the question paper of this examination selecting specific questions from the question bank. This examination system has remarkably proved to be fruitful for slow learners and weaker students.
