THE THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

The Thought for the Day is another important activity of the morning assembly. Here little kid quotes an inspirational remark or proverb of great writers with an objective to communicate courageous message to the students.

THE NEWS HEADLINES

The Thought for the Day is closely followed by News Headlines. A student takes venture to go on the stage and read the headlines of breaking news of the previous day so that all the students become aware of the happenings in the country and the world as well.

THE ACTION WORD OF THE WEEK

The students are given an action word every week, which is either morally boosting, inspirational, thought provoking or disciplining. During prayer time students and teachers discuss relevant stories or their experiences of application of that quality in their daily activities.

THE G. K. QUESTIONS

Asking G.K. questions to the students is the most distinct phenomenon of the Morning Assembly. The entire set of questions is divided into three sections. First set is for the students of classes I to IV; second set is for classes V to VIII and third set is for classes IX and above. Each set consists of four questions. The questions are prepared according to the level of the students.

THE TEACHER'S TALK

The Teachers also deliver a small talk on a particular topic in the Morning Assembly. Some times they share their experience with the students or narrate a story to teach them moral values and elevate their inner souls.

THE BIRTH DAY CELEBRATION

Sesomites celebrate birthday in a unique way. Instead of wasting money in distributing chocolates, they contribute to a birthday fund. Once in a year the fund is utilized  for distributing educational aids and sports equipments to the needy schools of the town.
